Tune your voice with precision! SolFaMe offers a structured approach to learning how to sing accurately and master musical notes.

This comprehensive application includes a voice tuner, a sheet music editor, and various exercises tailored for both novice and seasoned singers. Its features include:

 <li>Recognition of musical notes by their spelling and sound.</li>
 <li>Development of aural skills through ear training.</li>
 <li>Ability to sing musical intervals effectively.</li>
 <li>Distinguishing between sharps and flats.</li>
 <li>Creation and playback of original sheet music compositions.</li>
 <li>Engaging practice sessions through interactive games.</li>
 <li>Accommodation for both low and high vocal ranges.</li>
 <li>Support for Latin (Do Re Mi) and English (A B C) notation systems.</li>
</ul>

The application features a user-friendly tuner, allowing users to refine their vocal pitch against selected notes while visually tracking accuracy on a musical staff. Additionally, the tuner is compatible with instruments such as the piano, providing a versatile tool for both warming up the voice and tuning instruments.

The exercises are organized into three levels of difficulty—beginner, intermediate, and advanced—enabling users to progress at their own pace. These exercises encompass various activities, including:

 <li>Spelling out notes</li>
 <li>Aural training</li>
 <li>Recognizing sharps and flats</li>

The sheet music editor allows users to compose original pieces, offering options for different clefs, time signatures, and key signatures. Users can listen to their compositions played back through different instruments, adding a creative dimension to their practice.

Moreover, SolFaMe includes an engaging section of voice-controlled games that utilize vocal input to navigate characters, fostering enjoyable practice experiences. This array of games will expand with future updates, encouraging continued learning through play.

For optimal performance, it is advisable to use the application in quiet environments to ensure the microphone predominantly captures vocal or instrumental sounds. Although focused primarily on voice tuning, the app can also accommodate other instruments in suitable ranges. User feedback on experience with different instruments is encouraged as the developers strive to enhance SolFaMe for all musicians.

SolFaMe has been developed in collaboration with the ATIC research group at the University of Málaga (Spain).
